The API FAQ used to say that credits rolled over for X number of months, but now it says “unused credits do not roll over”. However, that was not the case when I subscribed, and I am not happy.
I purchased a larger bucket last month than I typically would have because I believed that credits rolled over.
We made this change had informed customers a year prior to making the switch, however I do understand your frustrations so am sorry to hear that you’re not happy.
There are options to move to longer term plans if you are looking at high volumes which helps to maintain credits. If this is something you’d like to consider in future pending your volumes, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
The problem is, is that I found this on your website on June 13th, 2025, which is what I made my decision off of.
"In the Free Plan, credits are renewed every first day of the month, unused credits are not rolled over.
In all other plans, if at the end of the month you have not used all of your subscription credits, the remaining credits roll over to the next month, and you can still use them. Rollover is up to 6x your monthly credit budget month to month. Credits are not refundable."
