I would like to revoke my API keys

Dear Support Team,

Could you please revoke my current API keys, both Live and Sandbox for the 1 team I have in my subscription?

They were initially used in an MVP environment, and unfortunately, they were mistakenly implemented in the front-end code (within a password-protected area). To prevent any potential overuse of my account, I would like to have these keys invalidated.

I have 2 follow up questions:

  • When will I be able to revoke / invalidate those keys myself?

  • Can your limit of your subscription be exceeded creating extra costs?

We can revoke these for you no problem.

I am sending you a DM so that you can share the first few digits of your API key with me privately.

Answers to your questions:

  1. When will I be able to revoke/invalidate keys yourself?**
    This has been added as feedback for future consideration. We will notify you if this becomes available within our Dashboards.

  2. Can your subscription limit be exceeded and create extra costs?
    Your usage is capped at the limit defined by your subscription. If that limit is reached, you will receive notice and further credits will not be processed, so you won’t incur unexpected charges. You can always purchase more credits.

Thanks for the swift response! In the meantime no harm was done. So i keep the key, since also the subscription limit cannot be exceeded.
